A.C. Flora High School: Children’s International Day
9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
A.C. Flora plays host to more than 600 elementary school students from throughout the district as they celebrate diversity and brotherhood with songs, music and dances from around the world. Fun activities could include crafting crowns (representing the United Kingdom), making peacocks (representing India) or playing a Mexican version of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey.
Meadowfield Elementary School: Woodlands 5K and Play Run/Walk
8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Old Woodland Park, 6500 Olde Knight Parkway
The community is invited to walk, run, stroll or roll through the enchanted neighborhoods tucked away in the Old Woodlands and Hamptons subdivisions near Meadowfield Elementary School. Participants in the 5K and fun run/walk will begin at Meadowfield and cross the finish line at Woodlands Park, where they can enjoy bounce houses, food and lots of fun for the entire family. Dreher High School: AP (Advanced Placement) Info Session
Parents, think AP (advanced placement) courses are a good fit for your child? Dreher High School, which exceeds state and national AP passage rates by 15 points, is inviting the community to learn more about its AP program. Dreher’s program includes 24 AP courses, the AP Capstone Diploma Program and the AP+PLTW Student Achievement Award in Engineering. The information session is open to current Dreher and Hand Middle School students and their parents, as well as any community members interested in learning more about the outstanding programs offered at Dreher.
Richland One Student Art Show

Bask in the beauty, creativity and originality of artwork by Richland One students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. An awards ceremony recognizing student artists will be held March 21, at 6 p.m. at the Tapp’s Art Center.
